UrbanTallahassee has recently received records showing developer, Mountain Shore Properties, has received approvals from growth management to proceed with construction of a 83,860 SF hotel containing 124-guest suites. A development that will rise 6-floors above Railroad Avenue. The development will also include 1,000 SF of retail space.
According to Mountain Shore Properties, "The hotel will be located in a premium location within walking distance of downtown Tallahassee's Capitol district, Collegetown/Florida State University/Doak Campbell Stadium, and numerous restaurants and shops...Once built, the hotel will be one of the best located in all of Tallahassee."
The development is expected to commence in the fall of 2016 and be completed by 2018.
