The THCC is three stories and 197, 170 gross square foot of space. The replacement clinic will be more conducive to patient centered care and will provide state of the art technology and increased specialty services. Included will be 900 parking spaces. (Note that not all services will be available at the initial opening of the clinic but will be phased over by October 12).
On Friday, September 30—Tuesday, October 4, 2016 the existing Tallahassee VA Outpatient Clinic and the Mental Health Annex will close to begin the move of equipment and furnishing to the new THCC.
Planned Relocation Dates
The following clinics will be open for business at the new Tallahassee Health Care Center on Wednesday, October 5, 2016:
- Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray & Ultrasound); Health Care for Homeless Veterans; Home Based Primary Care; Laboratory; Mental Health; Pharmacy Dispensary; Physical Therapy; Primary Care (Patient Aligned Care Teams, includes social workers, dietitian, clinical pharmacists, primary care-mental health integration);Administrative relocations: Billing, Veteran Service Officers (DAV & FDVA)
The following clinics will be open for business at the new Tallahassee Health Care Center on Wednesday, October 12, 2016:
- Audiology; Clinical Access Unit (CAU); Dental; Optical Dispensary (eyeglass shop); Optometry; Plastic Surgery; Podiatry; TeleHealth;Urology
