This project has come a long way in a short time period. Looks like we could see an opening soon.

They must be trying to shut down pep boys.
I personally don't think they will put Pep Boys out of business, but they could give them good competition if they build a large enough store. I like to work on my own cars, and I have found myself going to Pep Boys more than Advance, Autozone, Napa, and Carquest since they tend to have a larger selection of products and the price is usually comparable if not slightly cheaper. But I cannot to say I won't go to O'Reilly because I have heard they are a good parts store.
Another thing Pep Boys has is a rewards program. Autozone has one also, but it is just too far for me to travel to even if I wanted to visit their store.
BTW, why is this thread in the Restaurants forum??

I noticed when passing what used to be the Rex Store on Apalachee that a crew was inside ripping it apart (looks like some sort of remodel). Perhaps I missed a thread on this, but any ideas what's going on there?
