Description: The project consists of the design and construction of approximately 50,000 gsf of renovated space and 25,000 gsf of new space at Ruby Diamond Auditorium in the Westcott Building. The project will renovate Ruby Diamond Auditorium, transforming it into a premier performance hall. All major building systems will be upgraded, and acoustics and audience chamber architecture will be addressed. Pedestrian access will be enhanced, and a covered drop-off area and nearby handicapped parking will be provided. An addition to the building will provide a multi-purpose space which will also serve as a rehearsal hall. The lobby space serving the auditorium will be increased and improved. Those displaced by this lobby expansion will be provided office space in the new addition. Although the entire project budget is $32,983,895, only $12,430,000 is shown in the current available budget.
